7/9/24 – Staff Assault – Chippewa Correctional Facility

Prisoner 1 refused a shakedown in the hallway and walked back into his cell. Prisoner 1 was placed in hand cuffs and was being escorted. As prisoner 1 approached the steps he turned and Spit in Officer A’s face and began kicking officers A and B in the leg and foot before being placed on the floor. Officer B reported injury to his shoulder.
