March 16, 2025 – Charles E. Egeler Reception & Guidance Center (RGC) / Henry Ford Hospital – Staff Assault

Multiple RGC officers were assaulted by a prisoner at Henry Ford Hospital. As they attempted to prevent the prisoner from swallowing a toothbrush, the prisoner became violent, putting one officer in a headlock and fracturing his neck. Michigan State Police were notified.
