April 1, 2025 – Muskegon Correctional Facility (MCF) – Staff Assault

Upset after being denied a request, a prisoner struck a corrections officer in the back of the head. Responding staff restrained the prisoner. The officer was taken to the hospital but returned without significant injuries aside from swelling.
