7/6/24 – Staff Assault (#2) – Chippewa Correctional Facility

1430 hours, Prisoner 1 was assaulted by Prisoner 2. While Prisoner 2 was being restrained by Officer A, Prisoner 3 began to strike Prisoner 2 and pushed Officer A out of the way. Prisoner 3 and Prisoner 2 then began to exchange closed fist strikes. ECD was used by Officer B to end the fight. Officer A was escorted to MMC by Sgt. C to be evaluated for shoulder pain. All 3 prisoners were placed in segregation without further incident.

CO A was released from the hospital with a strained right shoulder.
