MTU members,

Today I had a discussion with Deputy Director Bush about MTU’s staffing levels and he confirmed that the current vacancy rate is too high to allow for another petition on the 12 hour shifts. There will not be another petition request in the immediate future. The vacancy rate will be monitored over the remainder of the year. As a reminder, the month of May is the open window period to submit seniority based transfer requests. To submit your name, contact your HR office prior by the end of the day on May 31.
