Teacher pension case has no impact on MCO’s suit

You may have heard that the state Supreme Court decided a case yesterday that concerns teacher pension contributions. Read news coverage of it here.

This ruling does not affect MCO’s lawsuit on the four percent pension contributions. It has no impact on our pension (or RTW) case, and we’re still hopeful our case will prevail. The arguments in the teachers’ suit are entirely different than arguments made in MCO’s case.
